SAIC: Art Benefit Auction 2022

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is one of the most historically significant accredited independent schools of art and design in the nation. For more than 155 years, the School has been a leader in educating the world’s most influential artists, designers, and scholars. Located in downtown Chicago with a fine arts graduate program ranked number two in the nation by U.S. News and World Report, SAIC provides an interdisciplinary approach to art and design as well as world-class resources, including the Art Institute of Chicago museum, on-campus galleries, and state-of-the-art facilities. SAIC’s undergraduate, graduate, and post-baccalaureate students have the freedom to experiment broadly, take risks, and create the bold images and ideas that help transform Chicago and the world.

A celebration of SAIC’s artists, the SAIC Art Auction 2022 raises critical funds for student scholarships. Each year, donors' contributions ensure the School is able to award over 3,000 need-based and merit-based scholarships to emerging artists, designers, educators, and scholars from around the world. Your generosity will enable our School to offer even more robust financial support for prospective and current students, increasing access to and affordability of a world-renowned art and design college education for all.

The pieces in this auction represent some of the most talented, celebrated and creative artists in the SAIC community. We are grateful for the generous donations from more than 80 artists, estates, and individuals in support of our mission.
